quote:The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is citing parking lot thermometers, buoy measurements, and freighter heat intake recordings along with ice core data, instead of its own satellite-based temperature datasets. In other words, NASA has decided to abandon Aeronautics and Space in its tasking.
If anyone wants to prove NASA wrong be my guest
Yet the Aeronautics and Space component still has orbiting satellites sending back loads of information. NASA determined it did not like the data it was garnering from its satellites though, so it assigned a team to fudge the datasets to more closely resemble freighter engine intake and asphalt parking lot temps. That sort of data manipulation should give anyone pause.
NASA breaking into its own satellite data, then fiddling with it to gain A 30% UPWARD ADJUSTMENT IN TEMPERATURE FINDINGS, speaks for itself.
So we are left to believe NASA is generating 30% errors in satellite findings? REALLY?
A 30% error is spectacularly horrible.
If we are to assume NASA was that sloppy in its work (I don't make that assumption btw), at that rate we can easily assume NASA is too incompetent as an organization to be trusted in the equation one way or another.
