Mine stares at the sky the whole time and he asked me to play, lol I never forced him to.
Granted it’s only his second year and now his 1st year of coach pitch. He didn’t start playing till he was 6. We won’t do travel ball but it’s b/c I just can’t get off work that much and don’t have that kind of money. If I did and my son wanted to I would, but unless he wants to work a part time job at 11, and playing travel ball, it ain’t happening.

Maybe not in your case, but there are plenty of kids who play rec league who are completely uninterested in the game. They are there because their parents signed them up.
