You would if millions of dollars (future revenue for a successful BB program), the reputation of your department/university, and possibly lessening NCAA sanctions that are on the way are at stake. Especially if it is written into the contract you signed. Also, is WW in some sort of legal trouble with the FBI? WW is a "potential" witness.....he may not even testify. LSU and the NCAA have an obligation to investigate these matters ASAP to mitigate THEIR damages.

Suspending him with 1 game left after knowing about the tap since October won’t mitigate anything.

His buyout is 9 million. The administration is praying for provable cause at this point because the way the have shite the bed with this fiasco is going to cost them a hell of a lot more than what they’ll “save” in the already piss poor reputation they have.
