I liked the Balvenie 15 year and would purchase that again or maybe the 21 year Portwood offered by them for this but I was wondering if someone with more scotch experience would point me in a different direction unless they thought that was a good way to go.

I didn't like scotch much until I had the Balvenie 12 year. That shite was great. I'm sure the 15 or other pricier ones are great as well.
