Dude you're crazy. Peat plays more than Armstead and is the one getting pancaked instead of him laying the pancakes on DL. You saw how much this line struggled when Armstead is not in the lineup. If you think the Saints would be smarter to get rid of a top 5 talent LT you're insane. It doesn't matter how many games he's missed the past few years they're not getting rid of a guy who has the ability of any top LT in the league right now.

Peat plays more than him and his cap number is big. He's not that good either so what does that say about his production being paid? I'd take a guy who has top 5 LT talent in the league right now over a guy who plays more than him but is usually on his arse during the football game getting our QB killed. Armstead is such a big impact on this team his presence is felt whether he's on the field or not. If anything, when he's not playing you see how vital he is to that line and Brees not being snapped in half.

Wait, y’all keep saying I’m crazy and going to great lengths to say how great Armstead is. Y’all aren’t gonna even acknowledge he’s played 48% of snaps the last three seasons? Anyone? This isn’t a one year issuesz Do you not realize how detrimental that is to a team? Armstead is your second biggest cap hit behind Brees. Blink if you understand

Anyway, Peat sucks when he has to play tackle..

He has to play tackle because Armstead is always hurt. Armstead has single handedly made Peat a must keep for this roster despite his deficiencies at tackle. That really puts ya in a pickle if you love Armstead and hate peat
