There is a subset of Gun Culture fanatics on here that think a gun is the answer to every problem or issue in life. It is bizarre. Just like a Gun would be worthless when someone is electronically raiding or taxing your 401k it would be worthless in Parliament as well.

Simplistic assessment...ludicrous on it's face. The only power that Parliament has to enforce it's mandates...is that of a gun. Same with the US Government, or any Government/Nation. If an unarmed People disagree with the Government Mandate, they have no hope of redress of grievance. If they are armed, and make know their intent to apply those arms in resistance to Mandates which they perceive as being unjust and injurious, then the Parliament/Government must make the choice to either compromise re the Mandates...or employ their guns.

I guess that the Founders were "Gun Culture Fanatics", iyo.

We are headed to the same place as the Brits, if the Dems are able to oust Trump/Trump Nation. The critical difference being that (currently), those in opposition to Authoritarian (Socialist) Government, are indeed well armed. And could effectively throw a wrench in the whole process.

Civilian gun ownership shift the balance of power from the state to the people. It changes the way government interacts with the population, and limits them.
