Cali wasn't just part of La Cosa Nostra, he was a member of the Sicilian Mafia. He has been the liaison between the Sicilians and the American Italian mobsters here in the states. Wouldn't surprise me if this had something to do with a power struggle back in the old country.

There were two senior American Mafios from Bonnano gunned down in Cancun about three months ago. Could be revenge for that shite show too.
