Working on organizing a Bach trip in June. I see lots of threads on Destin courses but anybody got any experience at Santa Rosa? It will be closest to where we are staying, seems to have good reviews online but wanted to check with the board. Thanks in advance

Fun little track. Kind of tight. Never really crowded. And decently priced.
Lots of trees. I play it once a year. It is not like Kelley, Regatta Bay etc.

It's been a while since I have played there. It's Panhandle golf. Lots of pine trees and water. There are some nice looking holes including 2 that butt up to the beach. I had heard they had some trouble after the last big hurricane, but have recovered nicely.
I may go play it in April when I am down there.

Not everyone wants to spray a driver all over a resort course. Go somewhere else and ruin a thread, dork.

Please stop spamming and trolling and hijacking every single thread. There's one started specifically for you to bitch about course design. Stay there.

Sorry for giving my opinion on the course. Can you start letting me know when I have permission to post?

No, you posted the same shite that you post in every other thread. Your post had nothing to do with reviewing the actual course. You are spamming the board with your shite.

I'll let you know.

Because most of you like bad course.

The course is tight, lots of unnecessary trees and water therefor it is not a good course. Conditioning is good That is my review of the course.

Most courses in the South meet that criteria
If someone were to ask for a review of Cedar Crest I would give a different answer

Can you not distinguish between its still godd but could be better and not good? It's really not that complicated.

Congrats, you've derailed another thread in an effort to bash everything unless it's wide open and in Dallas, Tx.
Seriously, frick off.

Cedar crest is far from wide open, same as Colonial or Pinehurst or scores of good courses.

Keep melting
Instead of getting your panties in a wod and whining like a little girl maybe you should try to learn something.
Or just keep being ignorant and thinking The Farm is a sick course

I've never once posted that nor do I think that.

Please teach me. All you do is post the same thing. Ugh, tight golf courses suck. Y'all need to learn something.

Offering an 18-hole, par 72 course with a challenge from five sets of tees for those of every skill level or handicap, holes three through five, wind around a complex of dunes and within a few hundred yards of the Gulf of Mexico. Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club boasts some of the only elevation changes in the area and takes golfers from the clubhouse to the Gulf and back through the natural areas that enhance the uniqueness of the course. In addition, the course meanders through natural wildlife habitats and native areas providing a picturesque backdrop of the local area and is designed perfectly for walking with little distance between greens and tees

I enjoyed it when I played it. Different landscape than most other beach courses.
