Absolutely I would. I'm an agreeable person who respects other people. But I would not be compelled to call them a name. As soon as a government entity or organization required me to use incorrect pronouns, I would absolutely refuse to comply under threat of coercion.
With my clients (this has happened twice) I just very clinically say-"you were born a male, and you now identify as a women, correct?". I let them know I know, then I call them whatever they want. I see that part of it as basic respect and dignity.
