Please don’t put Heisman Trophy as a reason to keep Ingram.
I think this is a great move. Kamara is now #1, and Murray’s style fits the duo need. He also fumbles less.

Ingram 15 fumbles on 1569 touches
Murray 8 fumbles on 1027 touches.

Murray will be a pleasant surprise, and the extra money will strengthen the roster.

The production will never be the reason to question this. Ingram was a great lockerroom guy. A team leader. He and Kamara got along better than I've ever seen two RBs in their prime. Also, Mark's deal with the Ravens is only 1.5M less than Latavius. No reason we couldn't make that move. Maybe Latavius produces and surprises us but as of now, this looks bad on our part.

We're his 3rd team in 6 years, apparently he does a lot less. Stop making this guy out to be some steal, if he were good he'd be locked down long ago.

Again, I hope I'm wrong, but nothing suggests this is an upgrade.
