It's a good glove for a dad or a kid rec player, or just to put on a shelf (they have some really cool vintage-look patterns). Not what you are wanting if you are looking for a gamer that's gonna last a kid a few years and work for him in HS. Spend a few bucks more and get a Wilson A2000 or Rawlings HOH. Either of these will require real breaking-in, but a very big uptick in quality from the Shoeless Joe glove.

Ok. Thats what I was kinda wondering about.
It is a cool looking glove....but for the money I am wanting more functionality.
