Wade deserves his share of the blame here

I love Wade and I have been a big believer in him since he was hired. He is the best basketball coach LSU has ever had and could have arguably been one of the top 3 LSU coaches of all time in any sport but he was extremely careless here. Sure it’s common knowledge that student athletes are getting paid at major colleges everywhere but the coaches at these schools understand how it’s done so as not to jeopardize their respective programs.
As sharp as Wade is it’s difficult to understand how he recklessly allowed himself to be directly involved with a middle man and put LSU in this tough position. Without Wade being reckless and careless our administration wouldn’t have to display their own ineptitude in attempting damage control.
Wade really brought this situation upon LSU in the first place so there has to be a big finger pointed in his direction for his carelessness.
