You take as many high caliber QB’s as you can. Brennan didn’t transfer knowing he would be probably be sitting for 2 years as a sophomore/junior.

You do realize the other QB in his class left after 1 year right? Lowell clearly wasn’t SEC ready hints why he’s at UTSA now. And this is my point, 2 QBs in the same class aren’t going to stay once the other one wins the job.

You’re implying it’s a smart play to take ONE QB and have a roster that’s ONE injury away from then having ONE scholly QB healthy? We should take at minimum 2 and hopefully 3.

2020 Season after Burrow leaves you would have RS junior Brennan, RS Freshman Parrish, and the true Freshmen that you signed. You would have THREE healthy QBs not ONE. THREE scholarship QBs would be plenty and you’re season would most likely be shite out of luck if you’re starting the THIRD string QB in a season anyway.

Transfers can weed themselves out but it doesn’t take much historical data to see LSU needs QB depth if they’re going to compete for a national title.

Signing 1 QB a recruiting class is the best way to build depth at QB. Can’t skip a class ever and signing 2 in one class doesn’t make sense to me unless you’re going into a season with just 1 QB on scholarship which Isn’t the case at LSU for the 2020 season as of right now.
