I've heard Ducky keyboards thrown around on this board a few times - Anyone have any experience with them that they can share?

I'm possibly looking into a new keyboard, currently using a Corsair K70 with brown switches. I would probably like to stick with those, and I think Ducky has those as well.

Any experiences, opinions, tips? I saw on their site that they have a lot of different types. Is there any particular one that's popular/good?

TIA

People like them because their build quality and customization. They're great keyboards but don't overspend just for the sake of doing so. All cherry MX switches are made in house at the Cherry factory in Germany, so 99% of the keyboards with them will be practically the same. Just buy the one with the switches you want and the most or least functions you want.

I had a Ducky Shine 4 for the last few years, no issues or complaints and the best keyboards on the market imo.

So it was time for an upgrade and today I got my Ducky Shine 7.

I used the Ducky Shine 3 and currently use the Ducky Shine 6 LE. Highly recommend these keyboards. Very well made.

And yes, my Shine 6 LE has browns.

You really aren't going to get much of a difference. I had a k70 and now have an Anne pro 2 (60%) the build quality is better on the Anne pro 2 (similar to ducky one 2 mini) but it isn't night and day.

I went from cherry MX speeds to gateron browns and I much prefer the browns. That's the main thing I like between the two and I also bought better keycaps.

Mainly people are just overpaying for keyboards like the k70 when the ducky is better.

And if you really don't need the keypad, try a TKL.
