McShay just released his first round mock draft 3.0 and Greedy is nowhere on it but he has 3 other CBs going in the bottom of the first round.

Is there a reason they would hate LSU? I’ve always been on the skeptical boat about all the ESPN - LSU hate, and I can understand the basketball side, us not being a blue blood. But.....is the hate actually real?

ESPN isn’t perfect, but it’s the best sports program in the world. No one else in the world even attempts what they do. I’ve been living abroad for many years, and these soccer folks wish they had a 24 hr sports program similar to espn. And it’s owned by Disney.

Greedy and the other top CBs are clustered with very little separation in terms of consensus draft grade. His lack of good tackling tape has become a narrative and apparently (I didn’t see) he looked awkward in the few field drills he participated in before he cramped up. He definitely confirmed his length and removed any doubts about his speed, and his interviews seemed to indicate he recognizes the need to show he’s a sound and willing tackler, but he hasn’t separated himself as the clear top corner such that it would be absurd to mock him in the early second. There are so many freaks at DL and LB that this tier of solid corners is taking a backseat, and within that tier it’s not obvious at all who’s going first.

There’s also still the pro day for each of these guys to raise/dispel concerns, so the shuffling might not be done yet.

I agree with what you are saying but a 6'2 corner with 4.38 speed. I have to imagine teams will look past the tackling thinking that is easily correctable.

Breaking news this morning was McShay had Tyler Murray going first.

They make their own news now.

I hope you realize Mc Shay isn't drafting anyone. It's all hype man.

Yep, that is the best thing to do. If it weren’t for games being televised on their stations I would never carry them.

That could be realistic! There is clearly something going on that we fans have not heard about that concerns a lot of NFL teams about Greedy. Truthfully, I question his work ethic because he doesn't strike me as a hard worker. Sometimes guys get caught up in their own hype and forget that the NFL is a business and you have work hard to stay. I hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him out of the league in a few years!
