Yes.
Your lab may have a more severe injury than mine though.
Mine messed up back knee ligament and my vet told me unless I was planning on it being a competition dog then he would not recommend surgery.
5 years later and dog is fine and never shows any discomfort with the knee.

It was a slight tear. If it was torn, she would have needed surgery.

I went through this several years ago. 100 pound or so male.
Freak accident while playing in a creek.
Get it Done ASAP.
Ours was his rear left. Had to basically hold his butt up for a few days while he peed.
It took a few months to get over it. Only holdover was he usually squatted when he peed from then on:)
