Teams are already starting to play a lot more zone against

But there is a difference between playing zone, and playing a good zone defense. It's no secret that this is going to be the key to beating LSU. We know it, others teams know it, but not many have been successful yet. Teams will really have to pack it in and help to stop the drive, and to stop the ball from getting down low. When that happens we will have crazy wide open 3's. Mays, Smart, and even Taylor can knock those down, and Waters certainly will.

I understand your point, and I agree in principle. But A&M was able to shut LSU down last night. Fortunately, LSU shut them down as well. In the NCAA tournament, as we all know, most every team is very good. You can't afford to be ice cold from the field like LSU was last night, and poor shooting has been the norm, lately.

I have no doubt that LSU can win some games in the tourney, by doing exactly what they're doing now. I've seen it. We all have. I just wonder how MANY they can realistically win if they don't shoot at a more respectable percentage.

On a side note, I don't want Taylor shooting threes, no matter how open he is. He's just not a good shooter. Great athlete, poor shooter.
