They only call Tenn fans can complain about is the foul with less than a second left.

And it was a foul.

Okay, so that's it? Nothing else? Because that was a really hard foul that HAS to be called regardless of the situation. I don't think people should come down to Louisiana of all places complaining about a foul that definitely should've been called.

I watched the replay and didn't see anything really controversial other than the usual close calls. I would imagine Tenn. fans are PO'd that they lost the game on foul shots, but that was a pretty easy foul to call. Smart had the ball and was trying to dribble up court before Williams plowed into him. Yes, Williams was just trying to go after the ball, but it's not like it was a situation where no one had control of the ball and two guys collided. Smart had the ball before getting bumped.

Objectively, I don't like games essentially ending in FT's. Just like I hate baseball games that end with a walk-off bases loaded walk. But that is a foul you have to call

Critics seem to be complaining that, although it was a foul, the referee should have eaten the whistle and allowed the game go to a second overtime.

The concern should be (1) you don’t call it, (2) Tennessee grabs the loose ball and (3) TN wins on a last second prayer from a few feet away from the basket.

That would have been way worse therefore the referee needs to make the obvious call.

Further, if our player hadn’t have gotten knocked around like a pinball, he might have gotten off a long buzzer beater. The foul gave us no chance.

They missed a big on when skyler shot the 3 in the final seconds and the Tennessee guy hit his actual head and no call. The one the missed in our favor was emmitts hold but the guy didn’t have an angle to see it.

AND that foul was not what Tenn lost the game on. They missed their own game winning shot and had to foul. They had no choice. THey wanna win, make their shot.

Probably a foul but I doubt any of us LSU fans would have been all that pissed if he doesn't call that foul. You definitely don't expect a foul call with just a few seconds left.

I can admit that if the tables were turned Im pretty sure 95% of us LSU fans (including myself) would be bitching and crying like little girls, just like Tennessee fans.
BUT
Considering the arse rapings we Louisianans have had by Officials at sporting events lately I say this with all sincerity.......
