I was going to come post about how crowded UCLUB is and relay a story about my buddy's dad who quit and joined CCL, but it seems as he already beat me to the thread.
I will say that I worked at Carter Plantation during UCLUB's renovation and they got privileges at CP. That allowed me access to the membership list, which had almost 800 members. While I'm sure some of that was non-golfers or out of state members, I can't imagine the membership has shrunk.
Also, UClub is the hardest of the three. I've yet to have an enjoyable round out there, tbh. It's a slog from 1 to 18. While I could be killing myself by not having local knowledge or knowing the exact lines, which you could figure out as a member, it hasn't been easy for me. It's the first and only course I've ever walked off of and been happy to be done playing. It's always in good shape, though.
You need to play them all, if possible, as they are all very different styles.
