These frickin’ guys...
I watched this whole episode when it aired. It was definitely an interesting perspective that I think well intentioned conservatives should take a good look at.
Of course, this guy is also pushing what worked in virtually demographically uniform, much smaller populations. It would be quite costly to do in the US with no certainty to work as well as it has elsewhere.

i haven't seen the episode but i've seen clips, and he's right, for the most part. yes our demos may screw it up and it won't be as effective, but the overall mindset needs to change. addiction is a psychological, biological, and social "disease". it's a lot more than just the religious-based morality that conservatives use relied upon for decades

This is true but don't all clinical trails start with a small sample size? They have effectively done this for us.
When will we reach the breaking point and realize what we're doing is a massive failure.
