It's amazing how many people don't get this. So many people in here downvoting away for those of us that have no desire to live in a big city under the assumption we're all backwoods yokels.

Hell I've lived all over the world in multiple large cities. I had a hell of a time in my 20's and early 30's. But been there, done that and it doesn't hold the same shine it once did.

That and most people are insufferable twats and I'd rather not be around large groups of them.

I lived in NYC in my 20s. I'd be miserable there now. There's really nothing that interests me anymore that doesn't exist in a small or mid sized market. I'd much rather live in a market like Greenville, SC than Houston or Chicago.
