Like Kevin Young? Yeah, he is the Franchisee-Owner/Operator of Manhatten's fifth Chick-fil-a. You should should look up what Franchisee-Owner/Operator means at Chick-fil-a.
You will notice that Oscar is also referred to as a Franchisee-Owner/Operator. All Chick-fil-a's are run by Franchisee-Owner/Operator, who all paid their $10k and all went through Chick-fil-a training. And when they die or retire, the resturant is still owned by the Cathys.
So yeah, Oscar lied to you, but probably more through omission than deceit.

There are no independently owned Chick-fil-a's and no operator operates more than one store at a time. That's SOP, for everyone. Sorry to crap on your humble brag.
