There's the rub right there. The progressives aren't just trying to get the UMC to TOLERATE the sin of homosexual acts, they want the church to ENDORSE and CELEBRATE them.

That's where I have a huge problem with them. They don't want their sin called a sin. There's not another group out there doing this. There's not a collective of people stealing from their jobs trying to have the church change the Ten Commandments to suit their feelings.

The people pushing this are more concerned about human feelings than for making disciples of Jesus, which is our great commandment from Jesus himself.

"Go and make disciples of all nations."

The people pushing this stuff are really horrible people, because they are not leading their followers TO God. They are actually leading their followers AWAY from God. Woe unto them.
