The good thing about being Southern Baptist is that the local church is autonomous. If the SBC ever goes this route, we'll ignore it or withdraw.

Russell Moore and JD Greear would both like to take the SBC in this direction. Both have uaed SJW talking points on race, immigration and economics for some time.

I've been hearing about Southern Baptist churches having the right to conduct gay weddings if they so choose, since the early 1980s! So nothing controversial as far as I'm concerned.
