I went to the Purdue and Memphis State games and when they beat Ga Tech I decided to go. I left very late at night from the LSU campus with two buddies and drove to Atlanta. We stopped at a random country club in the ATL suburbs and walked in like we were members and took showers and cleaned up. It was hilarious. We then went to the OMNI and scored some tickets outside the arena and watched that great victory unfold.

I’ll never forget being cursed out by UK fans as we left, yelling us “ we beat y’all 3 times” like we gave a frick. That was such an amazing run and such a fun team.
