If it is as bad as the omnibus bill, he better VETO.
No way he agrees to let mayors determine how the US border is secured. If this is in this deal, then the dims did not negotiate in good faith. Tell the American people, and place the shutdown at their feet.
The people will not give the dims a pass, if they put something like this in the bill or disallow executive Orders to build the wall. Congress does not have that power, nor should the prez relinquish this part of the executive Branch.
If either of these land mines are in the bill, then NO DEAL!

I have no idea about the Executive Order but no way does he force a shutdown.

If those poison pills (or anything like that) are actually in there, he absolutely should veto it and lay this squarely at the Dems feet.
