this is an area where being an emotionally deficient, isolated person comes in handy. understanding my expectations are all that truly matters, matters. the key is figuring out how to develop proper expectations and then the strategy and discipline in meeting them

Hmmm...I'm sure there are stats out there, but who tends to suffer more from depression/anxiety? Extroverts or introverts?

GD this is well stated. If only more people would realize this and just get off of social media.
Of course this type of stuff still existed before social media in the form of old lady gossip so you can never truly escape it but you can reduce your exposure to it.
