Way back in my days several chapters liked to fire a cannon in front of their house. For rush, parties, whatever.
Anyway, there weren't that many functioning cannons available so most chapters just passed them around. We were running a cannon over into Louisiana one time and got pulled over in Vicksburg Thank goodness the MHP officer didn't look in the back of my friend's truck, because I don't know how we could have convinced him that weren't smuggling a stolen cannon from the park
