i was disappointed to see we didn't move up at all. ttech moved up a full 4 spots from 16 to 12 after defeating ok and wv. that's not better than lsu's week so i'm really confused by that. granted, i didn't dig into tech's prior opponents but, they made a huge jump whereas lsu had just as good of a week and didn't budge at all.

on the bright side, bpi moved lsu up from a 6 seed to a 5 seed and bpi has been the lowest for lsu all season. bpi has ky a BIG favorite over lsu

lsu remains 21 in kenpom which is starting to become a bit of a head scratcher too. auburn has similar metrics, s.o.s., etc yet remains a full 7 spots ahead of lsu after losing head to head and having a worse record.

rpi has liked lsu all season.

it sure is nice to be talking about the reasons why lsu could be considered a top 4 seed instead of wondering what it will take to make the tourney!

KenPom and NET care a lot about efficiency metrics. Winning ugly doesn’t move the needle a lot, especially once you’re in the top 30 or so. It’s kind of dumb. We haven’t crushed people since that Ole Miss/South Carolina stretch.
