I have to imagine if they phase out Directv that we are talking in 10-15 yrs just because of the sheer volume of customers.
Att is no longer developing DirecTV or uverse. Att is moving to an IPTV box that works over the internet and has a 5g chip built in.
Expect a rollout within a year or two. It is already in beta testing.
