I agree with you 100 percent! The reality is college football is about big money and not about education. College football has been out of control for a long, long time! The NCAA is a joke and it's about time the athletes get treated fairly like the rest of the students and coaches. How many places can you name where an employee makes more than the president by millions of dollars? I've lost a lot of respect for college football because they want to portray this wholesome image, but the college football is one of the dirtiest business around. In fact, you could draw a correlation to football players to slaves, in that the players have no voice and are told to what to do, when to do it and they have absolutely no voice in anything. If the top-tier athletes decide to one day stand up to the NCAA, college football is going to be in big trouble because they are the product and without them, college football is nothing.

No actually you can’t. Athletes are treated much better than normal students. Free tuitions, room and board, waiver of fees, free books, free meals, free tutors. Don’t forget free summer school and intersessions.

Now, do they work their asses off and dedicate full time work to the university? Yep. But so do a lot of academic students. Hell, I did for my scholarship. The only difference was that if I transferred to another school for another scholarship, I wasn’t prohibited from participating in academics at the new school.

Poaching of players will not really hurt the tops of the power 5. It will kill group of 5 and weaker power 5 teams though
