Downtown Greenville is absolutely beautiful, plenty of stuff to do.
They have a single A (I think single, but maybe not) Red Sox farm team. Their stadium is built with a replica of the green monster. It's a cool park, the games are fun to watch, and all the concessions are cheap. If you like baseball at all, cool place to go.

I lived a block over from the park for 6 months. $1 beer night on Wednesdays were the best, followed by a drunken BBQ feast at Mac's next to the stadium.
