How would you rank Boston's talent?
Mainly the Small Forward and Shooting Guard position? Which ones would be the best for us.
I'll hang up and listen

Hayward talent must still be lacking after the injury?

AD is an A or A+?

Hayward looks awful. Starting to think with his age he might not come back from this injury.

Just keep in mind - that is their value in a vacuum. My biggest issue with the Boston trade would be that the players we bring over are Gordon, Aminu, and Kaman all over again. They are miserable to be traded here and try to flee the first chance they get and/or purposely sabotage the experience.

Thats why Brown is a B- for me. I actually like him more as a player and he is on a nice deal, but he is a RFA soon. Like Gordon was. And I imagine he makes the whole experience miserable like Gordon did. Then, Tatum would be up the year after that.

Smart would be cool. He wants a bigger role and wants to be loved and wanted, so he won't pout. Plus he is cost controlled for a while.

Personally, I am hoping for the Knicks deal with Zion, Knox, DSJ, and future picks. I would worry far less about those guys being miserable to be sent to NOLA

AD, if he is staying through this contract and signing another -- A+. He and Giannis would be the two most valuable assets in the league at that point.

While we are at it, how about the Knicks grades?

Side note: I had a moment yesterday where I was thinking how crazy we’d get if the Pels landed the #1 pick, took the Boston deal, and went with a Jrue/Tatum/Zion core.

Knicks assets

2019 pick - A if #1, B+ if #2 or 3, B- if 4 or worse
Knox - B-
DSJ - C+
Mavs 2021 pick - C+
Knicks future picks and pick swaps - C with chance to be much higher if things go wrong for them
Mavs 2023 pick - C-

Honestly if we get the number one pick and knicks get say the number three pick. Id still trade with New York before Boston. Bring the stars into the league together.

You'd almost be forced to take that lol I mean talk about a quick rebuild if the players turn out how they should

Man that would be crazy if the Pels get into the top 3 of the lottery and the Knicks pick is there also. Sweet dream

Hey babe, do the Pelicans view the Knicks as the top choice?

Zion is above Tatum but the odds of the Knicks getting the first pick is 14 percent so I don't think that question can be answered

I think Knox will be a much better player than people think. I think he can be a 18-20 ppg guy, 37 percent from three , and a average to above average defender. Hes a big part of the knicks package.
