It do be like that if you don't have a shotgun bolt on it, the bolts concentrate the spread of the blast. Once you get a level 3 bolt on there it's pretty consistent, just always aim dead center of their chest and you'll be getting 75-100 damage.


I'll primarily use it to get knocks after I empty a machine gun clip into someone and break their shields. Or if I already knocked them then it's quick and easy to finish the kill with
