Well I don't know about streaming, but kills are pretty hard to come by in Apex. I try to get one kill a game. I mean sure, Shroud will drop 20 kills but I don't think it's going to be like Fortnite where a random person can drop double digit kills very often. Even if you're doing chip damage you're helping your team. One game last night I had the longbow and did over 300 damage and still didn't get a kill. But we won and that's all I care about.

HP is so high and it's too easy to heal makes kills hard to come by

Dizzy had 210 kills of team Ninjas 355 kills. He is just hands down better than everyone at the game right now. Any of the top 5 teams probably win if they had him.

I enjoyed watching the top teams sprint across the map trying to get as many kills as possible

I've started to get the hang of it and kills haven't been that hard to get. Usually getting 3-4 a game now unless I just jump into a real hotzone and its just a mad dash for something.

I thought at first the shields were way too OP, and they may still be a little, but its not nearly as bad as I originally thought once you get the hang of some of the guns. If you have a team that can play well together and team shot people, you can really rack up some kills.

Holy shite

He would run off alone and take down 3 teams and then ninja would come up behind him and take all of the loot

Ninja took a balloon and tried to fly through one of the caves but hit the overhang and glitched inside the wall so he was stuck there. Didn't have a grenade to kill himself so he just had to wait until the circle closed and storm killed him.

I have had double digit kills a dozen or so times so far. It isn't as hard as you think.

Main thing is the game only has 60 players in it. Not 100 like the other BR games. So by default you are going to have less people to kill. My most is 12 with around 2.5k damage I believe.

Dizzy had a 33 kill game by himself. That is the 1 player record right now.

They put out a patch:

quote:

VALENTINES DAYS

Added "Live Die Live" Banner Badge: Revive a member of your squad between 2/13 and 2/19 to earn this limited time badge.
Added Valentines Day cosmetic items to the store. They will be live and available in the store starting 2/13 until 2/19 and then they’re gone!
“Through the Heart” Longbow Epic DMR skin
"Love of the Game" Pathfinder banner frame
?

STABILITY / BUGS / PERFORMANCE / QoL

Various improvements and tweaks to UI.
Extended timeout that was causing players with slower hard drives to crash.
Addressed a number of client and server stability issues.
Fixed exploit where you could keep duplicating items in your inventory.
Addressed a number of stability and performance issues.
Fixed issue where players would get a gray screen in lobby when connecting for the first time.
Fixed issue where your friends list showed all your friends as offline and unable to party.
Shortened duration of Bloodhound’s Eye of the Allfather clones to remain in the world by 1 second.
?

GEAR

Arc Star now displays a grenade warning indicator.
KINGS CANYON

Addressed a number bugs with map geo like holes you could fall through and areas that players could get stuck in plus a bunch of other polish issues.
PLAYSTATION PLUS PLAY PACK

Art updated for the Playstation Plus Play Pack to the Flatline skin and Banner Card and changed the names to Deep Blue. This will affect all players that already have been rewarded the skins as well.
We still have a lot of work to do and we hear those frustrated by disconnects and crashes and are working to improve stability and performance as well as provide more visibility for everyone.

Yea just from watching the streams, i'd say generally those teams were probably averaging maybe 8 or so kills a person. Dizzy definitely had some outlier games there. I could be flat wrong, but that's about where i'd think the average was. just based on the game set up you will have less kills per game than you would a fortnite or pubg or whatever.

Good for them for getting out a quick patch. That is really what is key with these type games. Everyone knows that issues will come up. As long as they communicate well and work to update as regularly as they can, people will be fine with it.

Dizzy was averaging about 16 a game. (in the 4 hour tournament)
He had 210 kills in 13 or 14 games.

Oh he was insane. I just mean overall if you averaged all the players, i'd say they probably averaged around 8 or so kills per person per game. Thats just a guess from me watching and seeing the end game stats off and on. Could be completely wrong there.

That's impressive. Any tips? I think I need to move more. (Shoot then move).

Spend way too much time playing.
I'm only okay because I have played so many BR and FPS shooters. It's my no life more than any skill.

Watch top players on twitch if you really want to improve.

Damnit. I loved taking advantage of this. So much free damage.
