how does that no call.make rams better. They only won because a bizarre claim of no see on part of officials..If tom.cruise could get in their brains what did their eyes register? Did they see giraffes? I saw 2 fouls. PI. And helmet to Helmet.

There was a major missed call against the Rams on a blatant face mask, too. The Saints lost because of an inability to score in overtime.

Major missed call? As in it was an egregious penalty that happened in full view of 2 officials standing just a few feet away? Watching it live, it’s a 50-50 call in traffic at best.

But that’s fine. You take your flag for your “major” face mask, and go ahead and take the 7 points that could be assumed to result. Then, in the interest of fairness, the Saints get flags for the 3 most blatant DPIs and the roughing the passer (two of which happened on that OT INT) that were at least as significant as that “major missed call”, far more deliberate, and so easy to see that my half-blind grandma who never watches football knew immediately that those were illegal plays. We’ll even be generous and assume the Saints would have only scored 3 each time, given their distance from the goal and their kicker’s very high rate of accuracy..

For the “math and logic are hard” crowd, 9 >7. Also under the same heading, it’s hard to score in OT or any other part of the game when your opponents are allowed to repeatedly violate rules with impunity.

As for the Patriots, I never in my life thought I’d say this ... but I hope that they blow their opponents out so badly that all the officiating help in the world can’t save them. If the blowout is at least partially a result of some horrible calls/no-calls (will never happen, but I can dream), then the word of the day will be “schadenfreude”.
