I have an apartment in a glass high rise in west loop, and I probably won’t leave it on Wednesday until I go to O’Hare that night.

I ended up coming into work today. Everyone at my office is staying home, so I figure that I can get more work done. Windchill should be around -20 when I leave work this afternoon. Not ideal, but bearable in a short walk to the L.

A lot of people that grew up in Chicago are taking off work on Wednesday. The wind chill could be as low as -55 on Wednesday morning.

Tomorrow is another story. Will not be going outside.

The problem won’t be the walk. It will be the wait on the platform.
