Daily Cubs Thread

Well last night was a laugher of a game after the 5th inning. Big Z wins again and if it weren't for Brandon Webb he may be the early front runner for Cy Young. Anyhoo. The Cubs have opened up a nice 4 game lead over the Brew Crew which gives them some room for error but with 6 games against the Pads and suddenly hot Butt Pirates the Cubbies could really open up a nice lead over the Brewers.

seriously dude, you are forgetting the Cards are 1 game back and the stros are only a couple games behind them, if you are gonna start one of these at least bring some factual info

I think everything I said was fact. Did I mess anything up? I just checked the Brewers are 4 games out.

a) The 'Stros are only .5 games behind the Cardinals, not a couple.
b) Leaving out some facts is different from not bringing some factual info.

Is it just me or is any other cub fan glad to see Patterson sucking it up somewhere else. That freaking guy drove me crazy when he was with the cubs - he should play the game more like Ryan Theriot.

Good game yesterday sure - but he really sucks! His OB% is always awful for a guy with his speed. He plays the game like he is 6'4 and 240 - tries to hit everthing out of the park and strikes out way to much.

I'm not glad to see Patterson suck it up, I loved the guy in the minors, besides we have his clone now in Felix Pie.
