These are hobbies. A teacher knows the pay and the time commitment related to them before they take on the task.


So you don't realize that coaching can be mandatory in many cases? It is not always voluntary.

The way it usually works is that a school will hire a coach and give him/her teaching duties to justify the salary. Not the other way around.
