More like LSU or Georgia before their recent returns back to elite status.
Indiana high school basketball is still filthy good. IU just either can't keep those guys home, overlook some of them, or have them bust when they get there. If IU could keep half the elite Indiana HS-trained college players, they'd be in title contention almost every year. Only Maryland, Louisiana, and North Carolina compare as far as decent-sized states in pound-for-pound talent production.
