That wording would immediately make sense to me, and I'm sure that's the intent my kid's school but the wording is vague and just simply states release of all medical information to the school system...oh well, just checking to see if anybody has seen something similar

Just keep your kid home on the day of the trip. Better yet, accompany him. If the school doesn’t allow you to, follow in your vehicle. It’s the in thng these days with helicopter parents.

FWIW, that section I quoted seems to be new this year. I don't recall ever being asked to sign a release of medical records and reports section before.
