I'm in but not super willing or happy.

Kids need stability and grounded home life. If you can't provide that then you shouldn't have them. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to provide it.


Also, the chances of having a retarded child who needs 24/7 care for 35 years sounds like a nightmare.

Dude.

I have a good friend with a child with Down’s syndrome. That is real love to raise a child like that. I don’t know how I could handle it.

Yea I specialize in therapy for children with Autism.... having a severely Autistic kid that I could never take my eyes off for a second for their entire life is one of my biggest fears. What these parents have to do is nothing short of incredible.
