One of the easiest positions to play as a true freshman is running back

The simple reason you dont see the crazy hype for Emery is that hes been committed to a school for most of his committable time frame. If he was still uncommitted he would command probably 5 threads a day, every day. Since hes signed and in the books hes past the point of hyping and speculation. Hes the number 1 back in the country. End of story. Some of our fans literally arent happy with THE NUMBER 1 RB IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I guess we should sign Leveon Bell and then maybe, MAYBE, some of our fans would say he has "hype".

Composite #1 OG in the country.

Yup, and that’s not what I was talking about!

Yup, and that’s not what I was talking about
That makes zero sense.

Yeah you’re right. 65 people told me the exact same thing. I just mentioned composite rankings which includes all 3 that’s all. I mean let’s talk Rivals and ESPN rankings (they suck) , he’s the #1 OG on both.

Well, TBH, rankings of incoming freshman mean Jack crap now that they are playing for the Tigers!
It's what they do at the next level that counts, not what some recruiting agency thinks about them now.
Y'all sound like a bunch of women @ the laundromat bragging about which soap is the best!

Not really, he responded. No big deal...

That's not saying much. Where's the national exposure been like with Fournette and Dylan Moses (when he was still a RB recruit).
Fournette and Moses were both 5 stars since 5th grade. This dude just became the #1 RB in the final rankings.
This shouldn’t be confusing.

How many times is Emery run down from behind?
You are a troll.

Scouts at The Opening were comparing him to Saquon Barkley
Back when he was committed to Georgia I thought he was better than anyone else on LSU's board, but he does not remind me of Barkley...at all. In space he runs like Marcus Allen, gliding to set up blocks. That's what differentiated him to me - the creativity in space.
Davis is good, too - a classic LSU power back with good speed. We cleaned up at RB this year.

There has been a fairly consistent set of posters who insist he doesn't have elite speed and it blows my mind. There are times where guys gain on him as he approaches the goal line, but it's because he blows past them and then lets up towards the end to conserve energy. Could be a habit to break playing in the SEC, but it's not for a lack of speed. Dude's fast and he gets up to speed in a very short distance.

John has been on my cruise ship this week. (I know cruises are trashy). I was able to meet him and visit with his mom and grandmother as well. They seem like good folks and they spoke highly of the coaching staff. Seems like a good humble kid. Can’t wait to see him play. He signed an autograph for my son who is going to crap his pants when I give it to him. (I know, cool story bro).

He didn’t look as explosive as a senior compared to his earlier years because he gained some weight. He’s listed around 205 on recruiting sites but I can tell you he played closer to 220. He’s a thick kid in his lower body and was adjusting to his new weight. He’ll play around 215 in college and be a homerun threat for 3-4 years for us. He’s absolutely the real deal.
