How are the deer numbers currently? What are you trying to increase, deer numbers? antler quality?

Antler quality, no doubt. We kill some big deer but not as many big mature bucks walking around like we had in the 90s as a kid. Early 2000s were good.
Regarding numbers, way too many does. Our ratio was great but in the past 3 years it’s getting worse. Too late this season but I should’ve found a half dozen buddies with doe tags and let them fill their tags over a weekend and that still likely wouldn’t be enough. It’s not uncommon to se 30-40 deer an evening from the stand.
