I've done one full and a few halfs. I respect the hell out of anyone who does a full. I didn't run a marathon for anyone but myself, and I did it, and I feel good about that. That shite was no joke for me. Training was the hardest part. Getting home from work and feeling beat and then having to lace up and run in 20 degree darkness was tough.
That said, I get so much more personal satisfaction out of a 10k trail run than a 42k marathon.

Same. I dont think I'll ever do another full. Maybe, but idk. Part of me wants to do the Goofy challenge at WDW. The 5k, 10k, half, and full.
I worked nights. So I'd get off work at 3am and go running afterwards. A mile, then up to 2, then I was doing 5 a night to prep for it.
