Well that’s because these are just your opinions. Why are retroactive champions bs? Maybe they are just trying to fix a previous wrong. If the other schools accept this, why shouldn’t we? As far as conference strength or team strength, that’s all subjective and usually only decided by playing against each other. Anyone around before the playoffs can give you examples of teams “winning” national championships (BYU for example). In fact, there were up to 10 different groups that I know of declaring teams as champions in those days. Do you think other schools are giving back Championships? Holier than thou attitudes mean nothing, especially when your team went undefeated and obviously got screwed. At least they tried to correct it, even if you choose not to acknowledge it.
