Great place to raise a family, some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Idaho has been one of the fastest growing states for some time now.
ETA: and it’s not from births either. The vast majority of their growth is from people moving there from other states.

How much of that is limited to the Boise area, though?
I went to Sun Valley last year -- drove up from SLC. Passed through some pretty poor areas. Lots of trailers and shite. The contrast between SV and the nearby areas was pretty stark.

That didn’t really answer my question. What economic growth has there been for people to move there? It’s obviously a nice state but there’s plenty of nice places to live in the country.
