Used to ride my bike to the Rental Center about 3 miles away. Local place, knew the owners, usually a guy 2 years older than me, in my sister's grade, running the counter. Let me rent whatever I wanted. And they had Nintendo games for $1 a night.

Late 90s is not that long ago. It's insane how things have changed
