Typical public land hunting. In my climber without a deer in sight. Been a bad season so far. I’ve seen 5 deer this year.

A good doe and her yearling just came by at about 30 yards. The doe saw me and they bolted. 25 feet up in the tree and she looked right at me. Over pressured public land. I saw those 2 deer last week so I’m still at 5 for the season lol

Back in same ladder stand in pike county. Should have hunted longer had four does together at 10:05am. Would have made 9 for the day. Plus the big 8pt came back again at 5:15am.

Just shoot a doe and enjoy the meat lol!

I saw 5 deer my last hunt. All does. Just didnt really need anymore meat. Next year we will need to do some thinning out on the doe herd.
