This has to be one of the most appallingly asinine posts I've read in a long time. Did you even read the article?
1. Rand Paul isn't Canadian.
2. It's a private hospital.
3. He's paying out of pocket for the surgery.
4. Thus, the treatment he's getting has ZERO, NOTHING, NADA to do with Canada's mythically phantasmagorical socialized health care system that is powered by unicorn farts, rainbows, and NPC daydreams.

That's how it works. Most facilities are private. The government pays the bill which is funded by taxpayers. Did you really think all the hospitals, clinics, and medical personnel were all government run? Why don't you actually research shite. So he's paying out of pocket but he's still using a facility that probably gets a good deal of revenue from the government.
